Volgistics is just the name of a program that enables organizations to easily keep track of all of their awesome volunteers and volunteer opportunities! You just fill out an initial form, and then whenever you come to volunteer at Incarnation you sign in at an electronic kiosk that lets us know who’s volunteering where. It also lets us know what you’re interested in, and so helps us connect parishioners with ministries and service opportunities that they might like to be a part of.

There are other benefits, too, in that it means we can keep all of our volunteers safe by knowing who is where when, and helps us assess things after the fact to make sure we have the right number of people in a given place, etc. That’s a short, simple explanation! The diocese thinks it’s a worthwhile and important program to implement, so we are cooperating to the best of our ability and hope to make it as easy a process as possible for all of our wonderful volunteers!
