Family Agreement

REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL FAMILIES REGISTERED IN THE FAMILY FAITH FORMATION PROGRAM
 (This will be handed out at the first class for everyone to sign)

Incarnation Catholic Church – Family Agreement

  1. Each family with children registered for religious education classes in grades PreK-Confirmation Year 1 is required to attend monthly Sunday Family Faith Formation Sessions which include: (a) parent sessions and (b) children’s classes for grades PreK/K, 1-8, and grades 9-12 in Confirmation Year 1.
  2. Each family must attend Sunday Mass and Mass on Holy Days of Obligation.
  3. Each family is required to attend at least ONE parish-based activity at Incarnation Church together every month. A calendar will be sent out monthly showing these activities.
  4. Each family is required to complete at least ONE faith-based activity together every week in their homes. A list of options will be made available from which to choose.
  5. Each family is required to complete one faith-based activity together daily. A list of options will be made available from which to choose.
  6. Each family is asked to do one Work of Mercy monthly as a family. A list of options will be provided from which to choose.
  7. A log of all faith-based activities is required to be submitted monthly.
  8. All parents must sign an agreement acknowledging that they have read and understood the requirements of the Family Faith Formation Program for themselves and their children and will abide by this agreement in good faith, and to the best of their ability.
  9. All families must submit an “Important Paperwork” packet (handed out at the first meeting) to Eva Gontis for each registered child.
  10. All children registered in Family Faith Formation, grades K-12, must complete a Safe Environment Lesson required by the Diocese of Venice in Florida. This year the lesson will be taught on August 30, 2026. Make-up lessons will be scheduled for children who are not in attendance on August 30, 2026.

We, the parents/guardians our family, will in good faith and to the best of our ability, honor and fulfill the requirements of this agreement for the glory of God and the spiritual good of our family.
